What did you think?
I just saw the new Star Trek movie and loved it. There was plenty of inside stuff for the real fans and also it makes a great stand alone movie even if you were never into Trek.
I got a seat in nearly the front row because it was almost sold out. I'll go see it again when I don't have to have such a warped view.

I loved it, too! I only saw part of on episode of the original series, but I saw all of The Next Generation.
The one thing that dampened my spirits (and did so greatly) was that a a lot of the melodies used in there were ones that I'd made up when I was nine. Of course, not all of them were, but now I feel foolish for not publishing my melodies while I had the chance :'(
It was an amazing movie, though!
