Alien sightings reported in North Port

puredeepredalienFamily members are scared to go outside at night because of what they say is lurking in the woods. They claim more than five alien encounters in the last four months have taken place. Now, an international UFO organization wants to crack the real-life X-file.

Michael Rowley and his son Shane moved to their North Port home in April.

"Well, I'm retired and I thought this was where you're supposed to go," Michael said. "The only bad part is the aliens around here." Shane, 16, says he's had several extra-terrestrial encounters - most of which have been through his bedroom window. "They kind of show up when they want. You get used to them, but it is weird to see them walking around the woods with those big eyes," he said.

aliensightinghome"I haven't seen the wings but we know he flies," added Michael. The Rowleys' twilight story has the attention of MUFON - Mutual UFO Network. The group is investigating and wants to setup surveillance. But Michael believes they won't show up if cameras are around.

He says the plaster cast of a foot-print is his key evidence. While it may be hard to see, Michael believes the creature has a cloven hoof.

"[It's] about this big with pure deep red eyes. It just looked at me for a second," Michael said.

Michael admits to rarely going out at night. But he says he believes they come in peace and that they're here for a reason. "I'm a combat Vietnam vet and I don't wake up until something good is going on," he said. "This is something big and good going on."

The family expects another alien encounter during the next full moon. "And the neighbor, I showed a sample of the foot print and he goes, 'nah.' No one believes me," he said. To the skeptical, Michael says just come to his house for a visit.

"I didn't believe it at first," he said.

Since these aliens can fly, I took a look at the bird's eye view of this home (image above).  There are dense tree clusters where aliens could hide out around all of the nearby homes. From how close the homes are, unless someone is messing with these people specifically as some kind of game, one would expect sightings by the neighbors as well.

From the MUFON report:

Reference: Initial Field Investigation
MUFON Case# 17015
North Port Florida Encounter

The Mutual UFO Network of Florida performed an initial assessment of suspected extraterrestrial entity activity at the Rowley residence located at 2556 Holland St, North Port, Florida. Two witnesses gave testimony and accounts, Shane Rowley and father of Shane, Michael Rowley. Suspect evidence was collected. The evidence consists of video, photographs of footprint and associated negatives and a footprint plaster cast made by the witnesses.

Based on the analysis of the witness accounts, photographs, video evidence and foot print plaster cast, it is our opinion that the events as accounted by the witnesses is unexplainable and the unusual occurrences which took places at the aforementioned address warrants further investigation.

How does everyone know it's an "alien," whatever that is? Maybe it's the return of the Mothman or ...

Few years ago I was reading very old issues of a newspaper of a large mid-western city and I came across several reports over the span of several years about ... Ok, you'll think this is newspaper sensationalism out to make money, but they were small, but rather detailed articles that weren't on the front page ... about eye witness accounts of large flying reptiles, serpents. (Yes, dragons!) One guy said he was within yards of the creature, being, beast or whatever and it was a female! How does he know? Because it landed and temporarily released her young which she carrying in her mouth!

Ok, I know you don't believe me, but that's ok also. I kind'a sympathize for them. Their existence probably depends on their secrecy. Less people know, the less they'll be chased after, the more apt they'll endure the massive, expanding arrogant US population.

Interesting story Ann. If anyone finds the original articles I'd like to read them.

Xeno,

They dated back to 1870s, '80s or 1890s or thereabouts. It might have been the KC Star. At Google's newspaper archive search "flying ..." serpents or reptile or monster or ... and you'll find something maybe. I found an account from the late 1940s (?) from a ... midwestern newspaper. People were worried that it may have been some sort of object or something, which Communists were using to spy on Americans! So, the mayor or some official got involved. Like the Communists would want to know what's going on in a midwestern town!

Propaganda did wonders then as it does today.
