Rouslan Toumaniantz said today that Kimberley Vlaminck 'absolutely' agreed she wanted 56 stars tattooed on the left side of her face.
But now the 18-year-old is suing Toumaniantz, claiming she had asked him for only three stars - and had fallen asleep during the procedure, waking up to a nightmare in her Belgian hometown of Courtrai.
Toumaniantz claimed Kimberley was happy with the work when she left his shop in Coutrai but changed her mind when her father saw the stars.
'She's 18 years old, she's an adult,' he said. 'I don't regret it. To tell you the truth, this has given me some publicity.'
Kimberley is suing Toumaniantz for £10,000 after she paid £55 for 'the graffiti that has ruined my life'.
She claimed the Toumanaintz misunderstood her French and English.
She claims she fell asleep while he was doing his work... and awoke to 'this nightmare'.
'It is terrible for me,' said Kimberley yesterday. 'I cannot go out on to the street, I am so embarrassed. I just look horrible.'

A Belgian girl who claimed 56 stars were tattooed on her face while she slept has admitted she lied and that she willingly asked for the striking design.
Kimberley Vlaeminck said she "initially adored" the tattoos, but when her father reacted furiously she had decided to lie about it and blame the tattooist, London's Telegraph said.
Ms Vlaeminck, 18, made international headlines last week after she said she fell asleep after asking the tattooist for just three small stars, only to wake and find her face covered.

"I don't regret it. To tell you the truth, this has given me some publicity."
He now intends to get written consent from clients before he begins tattooing, The Telegraph said.

Mmhmm, fell asleep while having a needle repeatedly stitch ink into her sensitive facial areas.
i think she should've done her research first on a tattoo site like this printed it out and showed him. That should've fixed the problem!
its sad that the poor tattooist has to pay anything. it is obvious to the whole world that this girl is a liar, especially those who have tattoos. No way was she asleep. She should be ashamed of herself blaming an innocent man.
