Scientists detect military aircraft contrail forming clouds that both cool and heat planet

A series of satellite images analyzed by the UK's Met Office reveals how condensation trails (contrails) from aircraft can turn into clouds. The strange coil-like feature is a military aircraft flying in a circular holding pattern. Dr. Jim Haywood and his colleagues from the Met Office and Reading and Leeds universities studied the contrails, which were blown southward by the prevailing wind and transformed into "contrail-induced" cirrus clouds. Eventually, these became indistinguishable from clouds that arise naturally. Dr. Haywood and his colleagues investigated the impact of these man-made clouds. In an article published in the Journal of Geophysical Research, they described how it had both a cooling and a warming effect. Firstly, the researchers said the cloud reflected sunlight back to space leading to a cooling effect on the climate. Secondly, it prevented heat from leaving the Earth. - bbc

Almost looks like the military aircraft was deliberately making a cloud to modify the weather. After researching contrail/chemtrails many years ago, including chem trail patents as early as 1974, I figured one possibility is that secret military weather modification experiments have been going on for years. One aim might be to control global warming so industry can keep making money selling oil. This is just a wild conspiracy theory, but now we can see that contrails definitely can form clouds.
