Do Grapes or Red Wine extend life?

Alcohol shortens life. Red wine makes fat mice live longer, however, if you want the benefits of resveratrol in red wine which fights viruses, cancer and aging, then why not just eat the red grapes?

I reported on this two years ago and I looked into what seemed to me a possible propaganda effort or conflict of interest between the researchers who say "red wine is good for you" and the wine industry.

I concluded that the researchers truly believe in what they are doing. Still, a skeptical person should ask: Yes, the obese mice lived longer when they drank (I think of Orson Wells for some reason), but would they live EVEN LONGER if they'd been given non-alcoholic wine?

Eat your nuts and berries. Blackberries and blueberries contain resveratrol and other good stuff too.
