According to the Out of Africa model, developed by Chris Stringer and Peter Andrews, modern H. sapiens evolved in Africa 200,000 years ago. Homo sapiens began migrating from Africa between 70,000 – 50,000 years ago and eventually replaced existing hominid species in Europe and Asia.[60][61] Out of Africa has gained support from research using mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). After analysing genealogy trees constructed using 133 types of mtDNA, researchers concluded that all were descended from a woman from Africa, dubbed Mitochondrial Eve. Out of Africa is also supported by the fact that mitochondrial genetic diversity is highest among African populations.[62] - wikipedia
We "white people" are the result of a partticular genetic mutation which can, extremely rarely, happen in one generation. This is clearly evidence for evolution that even thick headed people can grasp. Random mutations happen all the time. Most mutations have no visible result, but now we have a wonderful example that we can take a fairly dramatic leap in ONE generation. Comparing her DNA in detail to her parents (all three should be sequenced!) should reveal the genetic key to visible racial differences.
Could the change happen in the other direction?
THE stunned black dad of a newborn, WHITE, baby girl declared yesterday — "I'm sure she's my kid ... I just don't know why she's BLONDE."
British Nmachi Ihegboro has amazed genetics experts who say the little girl is NOT an albino.
Dad Ben, 44, a customer services adviser, admitted: "We both just sat there after the birth staring at her."
Mum Angela, 35, of Woolwich, South London, beamed as she said: "She's beautiful - a miracle baby."
Ben told yesterday how he was so shocked when Nmachi was born, he even joked: "Is she MINE?"
Evolution deniers, wake up. Bigots of the world, step off. I laugh at this beautiful pie in your faces. Best of luck to them.
