Porous titanium foam dental implants (a prototype is shown) being developed by NRC scientists will improve the way we replace lost of damaged teeth. Traditional dental implants are solid pieces of titanium, a biocompatible metal. The implant is surgically inserted into the jaw bone and capped with a ceramic tooth. However, the proprietary NRC titanium foam has a porous structure similar to that of bone. The pores provide a site for bone cells to grow into the implant and thus more solidly anchor it. This will facilitate faster healing and the use of smaller implants.

It seems to be something that the dental world has to watch out!
Je suis certaine que c'est la meilleur invention pour les implants dentaires. Si toutefois vous avez besoin de personne pour faire l'essaie de cette nouvelle mousse en titane je pense être la candidate idéale pour en faire l'essaie. Je vous avais déjà laissé mon nom pour servir de modèle.
