US serial number gives clue to mystery of the alien in the attic

" When Barney Broom began renovating his cottage he did not expect to be confronted by a pair of black eyes staring from a cloudy jar. But the mysterious discovery of an alien in his attic has spooked the 54-year-old screenwriter and bewildered foundalienextraterrestrial experts, who yesterday suggested the US military could be involved.

The delicate 30cm (12 inch) figure of a baby alien is stored in a pungent liquid and has a US serial number painted on its four-toed foot.

Possibly sculpted from a clay-like substance and painted grey, the model closely resembles the aliens depicted in a hoax film of an autopsy of the infamous "Roswell incident".

Curiously, the alien was discovered stored in an old toffee jar wrapped in a copy of the Daily Mirror dating from October 1947. In July of that year, officials at the American air base of Roswell reported and then denied finding the remains of a flying saucer.

... A spokeswoman for the US air force said it had never made such models of an alien, the figure was not government property and the serial number could mean it had been catalogued by a museum. "It's a hoax," the spokeswoman said. Prof Roberts admitted it could be a film prop dating from the 1960s, but said he was not surprised at US denials: "That is the US air force line. They deny these alien encounters. It is quite possible they concoct stories to cover up for more nefarious activities."

Will it mysteriously vanish before they are able to open the jar and confirm that it is made of clay?

“Alien” Embryo Removed From 35-Year-Old Man’s Back

A 35-year-old tractor operator, Igor Namyatov, has undergone surgery to be relieved of what had initially been diagnosed as a tumor, but turned out to be the embryo of his unborn twin brother.... Doctors said the embryo belonged to Namyatov's unborn brother who had spent 35 years in the body of the patient. Namyatov's fellow villagers doubted the explanation given by the doctors. Some even surmised the object removed from Namyatov's body was an extraterrestrial organism. "It is a pity they have removed it. They should have waited to see what would become of it later on. That would have been a great scientific find, one of the villagers said. The "little brother" first made himself known when Igor was 15. At that time the boy complained about pains in his back, but doctors played down his complaints saying it was only a harmless fatty tumor. Twenty years later the pains came back. The doctors decided to operate at once. They were genuinely surprised to see that the tumor was in fact an embryo with little legs and hands. A forensic expert summoned to the village to investigate refused to probe the incident saying it was clear anyway that the object was an underdeveloped embryo. Igor Namyatov refused to leave the embryo at the hospital for further research." - mosnews

alienembryo

Strange to be a 35 year old embryo. Was this internal parasitic twin perhaps a thinking individual? Did it have a head? Are they just calling it an embryo to avoid the idea that they had to kill an attached adult?

Can we bring back a long-extinct animal?

"In what would be an unprecedented feat, a South African amateur scientist says he is going to bring an animal back from extinction: the quagga. A large mammal that descended from the zebra, the quagga filled South Africa's plains for millennia. But it fell to gun-toting European colonists and was last seen alive in 1883." - slate

Video from secret New Mexico base with aliens?

Here's a fun thing. It purports to be a video from a secret facility where aliens are stored in vats. Found on CrowdedSkies site. Also see here. Anyone have the scoop? The lights are too theatrical to seem real to me. Check it out: RealMedia. dated 10/7/1997, Nippon TV. Warning: Even a fairly smart person might spend years reading alien/conspiracy stuff and still not learn for certain which parts, if any, are true. Perhaps that's the point.

58 indicators of UFO encounters or abductions by aliens

Hey, I've had this one: "... dreams of passing through a closed window or solid wall."

Home of the Mothman.

"West Virginia has played host to two famous monsters, both within a span of a dozen years. In 1955, a 12-foot-tall space creature landed in a flying saucer and terrified the town of Flatwoods. And in 1966-67, a monster nicknamed "Mothman" performed a similar frightfest on the citizens of Point Pleasant. But today, the Flatwoods monster -- it never got a name -- is almost invisible on the vacation landscape. All that the town of Flatwoods offers are some monster replicas for sale ($25) in the gas station next to the Shoney's. In contrast, Point Pleasant is keenly attuned to the needs of the modern monster tourist. It has a very cool Mothman statue. It has a Mothman museum. It sells lots of Mothman merchandise. Why the difference? Mothman was made into a Hollywood movie in 2001 and thus is more than a monster -- he's a celebrity." - roadside

This statue is not very close to what eyewitnesses said the mothman looked like. For sketches from the original real mothman sighting, check here.

A New Beast in Borneo. Next stop: extinction?

"A creature unknown to scientists has been found in dense tropical rainforest on the island of Borneo. The mammal has only been seen so far in photographs caught by a camera trap. ... WWF caught two images of the animal, which is bigger than a domestic cat, dark red, and has a long muscular tail. ... The find was made in Kayan Mentarang national park on Borneo. ... [Due to forest destruction, this and ] other as yet unknown creatures may go extinct before their existence can be documented. " - bbc

We live in a time when new large species are still being discovered. It amazes me, therefore, that some people are so certain Bigfoot, Chupacabras, Mothmen, etc. are hoaxes.

New York Baby bigfoot video

bfb"The cameraman who shot this footage, Doug Pridgen, was videotaping a man talking beside a campfire at dusk.

The relevant action can be seen in the trees approximately 100 feet behind that person. It's shakey footage but the relevant things are unmistakeable.

Neither the cameraman nor any of the people present were aware of the movement in the trees when the footage was shot." - BFRO.

Alternative 3: Aliens responsible for life on Earth

" Today, according to the knowledge we have," concluded Dr. Yazeb, "we don't have any other explanation of the founding of the solar system, other than by the intervention of a superior civilization". EMeanwhile, in a quiet Tel Aviv coffee shop, Israeli Kobi Drori, a guide for the Raelian movement within Israel, sips hot chocolate while calmly describing much the same thing. "We're talking," he says, "of the third hypothesis on how life was created on Earth. The first is by an Almighty God; the second is the theory of evolution." The third, according to the 60,000-strong Raelian movement, is that life on Earth was created by scientists belonging to a superior, alien civilization, who created man "in their own likeness". ...

According to the Raelian movement, information in each major religion's key text offers clues as to this "true" creation of man. This, says Drori, is especially present in the Jewish Torah, or Old Testament. Here, he says, distortion over the centuries has hidden the true meanings of many descriptions. For example, he says, the Hebrew word for god - Elohim - actually means 'Messengers', or 'those who came from the sky' and does not refer to a notion of one supreme God, with which the word has become associated.

The Biblical image of angelic creatures arriving on wings from the sky is, he says, just a centuries-old misinterpretation of the beings who arrived in a spacecraft. Similarly, another Hebrew word for God, he says, is Adonai, a plural rather than a singular, which can be translated as "Lords". This, believe the Raelians, points clearly to the existence of humankind's true creators, to whom they still refer as the Elohim." - rnb

Make your own aliens, no really.

Readers of this site and careful UFO researchers know the evidence says there have been man made secret circular winged aircraft (and other shapes) that is, UFOs, for many years (1930's). Are aliens just propaganda to disguise real military craft ... or do they exist?

We can now answer with certainty: Life alien to this planet does exist. We know this for a fact because ... we made the aliens ourselves. According to Peter Ward:

"I hope people will wake up and realize this is a whole new biology," Ward said. "There's going to be a zoo of aliens on Earth in the next two decades just from what we make."

... "alien" life has been created in laboratories on Earth. That includes microbes with at least one amino acid beyond the 20 in the DNA of native Earth life, or organisms that have been genetically modified, Ward said. It also includes some life forms that have been modified to be much simpler than what is normally found on Earth.

burningman

"We may never find other life away from Earth, but we have already made aliens on this planet and we will continue to do so at an increasing pace," he said. "In the last five years we've come to realize that we can make microbial life in a lot more ways than Mother Earth did.

... Ward presents his new model in a book called "Life As We Do Not Know It: The NASA Search for (and Synthesis of) Alien Life," published by Viking and being released Thursday. " - astrobio

When I told someone that we can create life, she said we were really only re-arranging DNA which God had already created. My argument was: Is all writing unoriginal because it uses the same alphabet? Now I see we've gone even further. In 2001 there were reports that scientists were working on expanding the genetic code. In 2003 they were successful in creating novel life forms, that is, 21-amino-acid organisms (bacteria and yeast) which just might have an evolutionary advantage over current organisms on this planet which use only 20 amino acids.

Keynote for UFO Festival: I Remove Alien Implants.

"... Roger Leir, a California podiatrist ... has written five books on the subject of alien implants. He has performed 11 surgeries to date to remove "alien implants" from abductees. implantguyHe performs the surgeries for free through his nonprofit organization, A&S Research. Leir also was a consultant on the TV show "X-Files" and has appeared on programs on the History Channel and SciFi Channel.

"... The first thing I noticed is that there was no scar on either one of these cases. I couldn't see where any object could go in. The first thing I took out was in the big toes. It was a T-shaped thing covered with dark-gray biological coating."

"... There is one that really blew me away, even now when I think of it. There was a lady who came in, she had a marble-sized object in her arm that moved. And if you put your finger 2 inches away from it, it would come toward your finger. When we removed it, it was a pea-sized yellow object that was completely biological. It was not attached to anything. Now, I've done surgery for over 40 years, and I've never seen anything like it. " - statesmanjournal

Neato. Read the DNA analysis of this Alleged Alien Implant (PDF) and learn some science. Here is another, which unlike 'the claw' above is as yet unexplained:

implant2

I removed the object from the surgical sponge and placed it in the solution of blood serum for safekeeping and transportation. When this was done I noted the stainless steel instrument I had just used to transfer the object had been magnetized. This again is strange because these instruments are made to reduce the possibility of this occurring.

The patient is recovering nicely from the procedure and has gone home to her family. We have just sent the soft tissue surrounding the object to the laboratory for analysis. The metallic object is about 6mm in length and is about 1mm in diameter. It is bronze in color and seems to have thickened and beveled ends. It is very lightweight and highly magnetic. Once close up photographs have been performed with such equipment as the atomic force microscope, the object will go for its first internal test of scanning electron microscopy. The full results of these examinations will be available in the Mufon Journal at a later date.

Rock Island, IL: Mystery object turns out not to be a bomb

"A mysterious object found in a Davenport home turned out not to be a bomb, but a device aliensthat was supposed to scare off aliens believed to be living under the ground... Jessica Harper of Bettendorf said she moved out ... on Sept. 29 and left behind a box containing the device, which the Quad-City Bomb Squad investigated Sunday. She said a friend of her mother who lives in Colorado sent the box about a year ago, but they never bothered to open it or throw it away.

... the device was supposed to set off vibrations that would keep aliens away. Harper added that she did not know what the device looked like since they never opened the box." - qctimes

Obviously, the device worked fine. It kept all underground aliens away from that home... until now. They don't really have to be aliens. If a past race of humans moved under the ground, for example, to avoid wars on the surface, and continued to flourish and progress technically for thousands of years ... might they be the cause of many currently inexplicable phenomena?

Bigfoot expo shines light on hairy mystery

Hundreds gather in Texas to discuss Sasquatch sightings. "... there have been more than 2,550 seemingly credible Bigfoot sightings reported in North America the past century, according to Christopher L. Murphy's 2004 book ?Meet the Sasquatch.? ... Colyer and others estimate that about 2,000 are in North America today, reclusive nocturnal animals living in thickly wooded areas with waterways, eating meat and plants and making nests out of trees and brush.

New way to be a child star: be a star child.

"According to the event's Web site http://www.thebayareaufoexpo.com the Andrews family has experienced paranormal events, government interference and alien abductions for about 12 years, even though the family appears to be normal. The site adds that today, the Andrewses have become accustomed to the unusual occurrences

If I didn't already have plans, I might go see this BAY AREA UFO EXPO with Dean Haglund, " The Lone Gunman" as keynote speaker.

Prius Recall

Vehicles

I'd heard the rumors. Seems they were true. The gas engine in the Prius sometimes shuts down on the freeway. I had trouble starting mine when I rented one. Turns out I was just doing it wrong.

"Toyota is recalling 160,000 of its popular Prius hybrid cars because of an electrical / software problem that could cause the engine to stall. ... Toyota suspects a computer glitch. The problem can shut off the gasoline engine but is not regarded as a safety issue because drivers can still count on the hybrid's electric motor to steer to the side of the road. " - more

Giant Ape (Bigfoot Ancestor?) Co-existed with humans

"A gigantic ape standing 10 feet tall and weighing up to 1,200 pounds lived alongside humans for over a million years, according to a new study. ... Scientists have known about Gigantopithecus blackii since the accidental discovery of some of its teeth on sale in a Hong bigapeKong pharmacy about 80 years ago. ... Now Jack Rink, a geochronologist at McMaster University in Ontario, has used a high-precision absolute-dating method (techniques involving electron spin resonance and uranium series) to determine that this ape ? the largest primate ever ? roamed Southeast Asia for nearly a million years before the species died out 100,000 years ago during the Pleistocene period. By this time, humans had existed for a million years." - livesci

For my God lovin' and other science learning friends: Read this Christain perspective on radiometic dating techniques.

"There are now well over forty different radiometric dating techniques, each based on a different radioactive isotope. ... It has become increasingly clear that these radiometric dating techniques agree with each other and as a whole, present a coherent picture in which the Earth was created [4.5-4.6 billion years] ago. Further evidence comes from the complete agreement between radiometric dates and other dating methods such as counting tree rings or glacier ice core layers. Many Christians have been led to distrust radiometric dating and are completely unaware of the great number of laboratory measurements that have shown these methods to be consistent."
