Patriot Act Renewal = US Constitution killed by fearmongers

Here's my latest political rant:

Welp, that's it folks. The new Patriot Act is to become permanent. The traitors on Capitol Hill who swore to uphold the Constitution have violated their oaths by passing the Patriot Act. The feds are now forever above the law. They can secretly enter any home at any time without the owner's knowledge (Section 213) and can demand any physical thing (Section 215). They can also lock anyone up for years just by claiming he/she lied about something. Simply complaining if the feds make a mistake is an offense punishible by prison (which = physical abuse, possible death given the state of our prisons). patriotact-bushthumb.jpgPeople who have any dirt on crimes committed by those in power will now start disappearing ( we can only wonder how many already held secretly are just such persons) and if you know who disappeared them and you speak up, you will disappear too. Banana republic time.

"Intense congressional and public scrutiny has not produced a single substantiated claim that the Patriot Act has been misused to violate Americans' civil liberties," said House Judiciary Committee Chairman James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis. - ABCNews

Why? Perhaps because it is a federal crime punishable by 5 years in prison under the Patriot Act to stand up and say that your civil liberties have been misused. (Section 117) Americans are letting criminals who have inflitrated the government dismantle its protections. It doesn't matter that you have done nothing wrong. You are now powerless in the event that this or any future government is corrupt. Your rights were nibbled slowly away, and the bone is now showing... and control freaks will build you a prison of those bones.
