Psychic looking for Kiesha finds adult's torso

The psychic was trying to find missing girl Kiesha Abrahams (pictured) but instead discovered a woman's torso at the edge of Eastern Creek. A psychic trying to help find missing girl Kiesha Abrahams has discovered a woman's torso in bushland in Sydney's west.

The dismembered body was found near the edge of Eastern Creek at Doonside about 6:30pm (AEST) yesterday.

It is not believed the remains belong to Kiesha, the six-year-old who went missing from her home in nearby Mount Druitt about a fortnight ago.

Police say the woman who found the torso was walking through the bush because she had a feeling there was a body there.

The body's head, arms and legs are missing.

Today much of Nurragingy Reserve has been cordoned off while police dogs and divers search the creek and its surrounding area for more remains or anything that might be connected to the crime.

The woman has not yet been identified and a post-mortem examination is underway.

Police are appealing for anyone in the public with information to come forward.
