Five days ago: Chelsea Clinton Secret Wedding (PHOTOS),

I suppose most people already know, but I found out today. Congrats!
Chelsea Clinton wedding photosChelsea Clinton wedding pictures continue to burn up the net. Ironically, Chelsea Clinton wanted her wedding details to remain secret - but that just drums up interest even more.  ...

Bill and Hillary Clinton's daughter married her long-time boyfriend in the picturesque New York village of Rhinebeck on Saturday in what has been dubbed America's royal wedding.

On July 31, 2010, Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky wed in an interfaith ceremony conducted by United Methodist pastor the Rev. William Shillady and Reform Rabbi James Ponet at Rhinebeck, New York.  ... The venue for the nuptials was Astor Courts, a 50-acre 1902 Beaux-Arts estate on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River designed by Stanford White as a sporting pavilion for John Jacob Astor IV. The estate is presently the home of Hillary Clinton supporters Kathleen Hammer, once a producer at Oxygen Media, and Arthur Seelbinder, a developer and businessman. ...

Mezvinsky was born December 15, 1977 to former Iowa Democratic congressman Edward Mezvinsky and former Pennsylvania Democratic congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, and is one of their 11 adopted and biological children. His parents chose to raise their children in the Conservative Jewish tradition as a compromise between his father's Orthodox upbringing and his mother's Reform background;[49] the Conservative tradition generally discourages interfaith unions.

... The Clintons and Mezvinskys were great friends in the 1990s and their children met on a Renaissance Weekend retreat in Hilton Head, SC. ... They became romantically involved several years later, and debuted as a couple in Las Vegas in 2005. They became engaged over Thanksgiving weekend 2009, and wrote family and friends: “We’re sorry for the mass e-mail, but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc." - wikipedia.

Ok shallow Hal. Post your picture so you can be insulted by people you don't know based on how you look, which is largely a matter of genetics and out of your control anyway. Whatever, I think she looks great.

This is not the first time the gentile woman married to a Jewish man.
Samuel Chester Webb, a Jewish man, married to a gentile woman, are the parents of Jack Webb! Unfortunately, Jack's parents broke up.

"This is not the first time the gentile woman married to a Jewish man." I should say not. But, why is this a concern?

Please, excuse my stupidity, but why are so many people now-a-days concerned about Jews? (I'll not use the anti-s word seeing how that leads into all sorts of tangents.)

If it's simply racism, then it's simply ignorant, by anyone's standard anywhere and at any time, except the most naive. And, the discussion ends. The racist's argument doesn't follow any reasonable logic.

Is it because of Israel's policies in the Mideast? Israel is not same as Jewish people or Jews, just as the U.S.A. doesn't represent all Americans. Although, according to polls, the majority of Americans don't want an ongoing war in the Mideast. Yet, Americans keep electing politicians who keep the war going.

Besides that, some Jewish groups, both in Israel and the U.S.A., have been publicly protesting Israel's policies in the MidEast for a long time. That includes policies against the Palestinian people.

Anyway, Israel would be nothing, literally, without the ongoing, decades-long support from the U.S.A., which totals now in the billions of dollars. Without the ongoing military, ideological and economic support from the U.S.A. Israel would be zilch.

When you speak about Israel today, it's almost like talking about Ukraine's policies in relationship to Moscow's during the Soviet Union.

Is it because of the intense lobbying efforts by Jewish groups within the U.S.A.? Well, it's certainly not any more intensive than that of various corporations, including those within the U.S.'s industrial military complex.

No, I'm not Jewish, as if it makes any difference. It concerns me, because, according to some scholars, the U.S. is tittering on the edge of a fascist police state. And, in the democratic state of Germany before it eclipsed into Hitler's fascism Jews were also found to be easy answer to all of Germany's woes. We all know what happened after that, unless you believe the most radical historical revision of the Holocaust, which isn't supported by any academic community anywhere.
