Gene Simmons vs. The Fed

Gene Simmons is a character. His real name is Chaim Witz and he was born in Israel. He co-founded the rock group Kiss in the early 1970s.

I think he is 61 years old now.  I don't agree with all of his politics, like supporting Bush, but do I like how he messes with people. His net worth is $300 million according to celebritynetworth.com.

He claims to have slept with 4,600 women. (That would be a different woman every night for 12 years.)
Simmons, 56, says, "I have not heard a complaint. That's because I am straight with them. "I don't lie, like most men do. I will tell a girl I want her and desire her, but I'll tell her straight, 'I want your sister and your mommy as well.'"

He has an interesting lack of embarrassment and a great playfulness.

He claims to have never been drunk because he wants to live a long time. I hope he does "win the marathon".  He should give Aubrey DuGrey a million dollars. That would improve his chances of having the longest life possible.

If I was a Christian, I'd seriously consider the possibility that he is the devil...  but would the devil want to abolish the Fed? Would the devil donate to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS foundation? I think not.

Ok, so like I have nothing better to do than add comments, right? Sorry, but ... I like this:

"If I was a Christian, I’d seriously consider the possibility that he is the devil … but would the devil want to abolish the Fed?"

I personally don't think the "devil," if such an entity exits, is necessarily stupid. But, like Lucifer, seeks places of greater power and control. But, I think the devil would recognize most people would tend to avoid him (or her). So, he (or she) is very cunning and clever.

I think we've already seen Satan many times. And, he has fooled us many times. And, we've actually voted him into office. He has even occupied the White House and other places of power.

He's the character that harms, injures and kills others, and causes suffering to whomever, but tell us, it was all for the greater good.

Basically it seems they want to ( supposedly ) shrink government to put more of the control in corporations . The question is do you trust big business more than the government to control your daily life ? Essentially the lesser of two evils . The government has some accountability . Big business has none ! We have seen this play out repeatedly . Big business gets bigger and bigger . Fewer and fewer companies own more and more . Oil , Pharmaceuticals , insurance , tobacco , media . They don't care about people . people are just consumers . The more they can squeeze the better the bottom line . Look at how big business treats you now . Wait until they gain even more power from the right wing . Don't be fooled they want business to rule the world not you the people .They want to be free to do as they please without any government telling them what to do . You as an individual will not gain freedom . The only freedom you will have is what big business allows you to have .The bottom line is do you trust a controlling structure of accountable representatives . Or do you want to be controlled by a small group of a dozen or so mega businesses with no accountability to the people . Do you have any say about what BP does ? How about Philip Morris ? Microsoft ? Drug companies ? Trust them with your daily life ? How about an over the hill rock star with the morals of a snake ? It's starting to look like the stupid will inherit the earth after all !

True, from Reagan to Bush, the political motto always had to do with something about smaller government, less taxes, but what do we have today? The largest militarized government in history and the largest federal deficit in history. And, who pays less taxes today? It began with Reagan and continued through the decades since, the very wealthy, CEOs and big business. And, whose wages steadily increased since Reagan? It certainly wasn't the poor or the middle classes. Thus, today we have the greatest disparity in wealth in the United States since 1900, so-called era of the robber barons.

Disparity is not only a financial issue. It also deals with health and education. The poor always suffer the most. Yet, ... and YET! We are continuously told it is the poor person's fault the reason he or she suffers.

And, the notion of privatizing everything received a great push during the during Reagan administration. Private business was thought to be the best route toward doing just about anything. Little thought went into recognizing that the prime motivation of any "business" is making profit.

This was extended on the international level with what is called, "structural adjustment" programs. To qualify for financial assistance from the IMF, poor Third World governments had to abolish all social programs, such as education and health, avoid tariffs, import substitution etc., making their countries suitable for large corporate interests. Thus, we have the initial stages of "globalization."

Yes, I truly believe we've all seen the "Devil" and he once lived in the White House.
