Bush shuns Patriot Act requirementWhen President Bush signed the reauthorization of the USA Patriot Act this month, he included an addendum saying that he did not feel obliged to obey requirements that he inform Congress about how the FBI was using the act's expanded police powers.Bush signed the bill with fanfare at a White House ceremony March 9, calling it ''a piece of legislation that's vital to win the war on terror and to protect the American people." But after the reporters and guests had left, the White House quietly issued a ''signing statement," an official document in which a president lays out his interpretation of a new law.

No Longer The Minority: 82% Plus Support Charlie Sheen
Despite the best efforts of the now whimpering attack poodles of the mainstream media, an online CNN poll shows that over four-fifths, or 82 per cent, agree with actor Charlie Sheen that the U.S. government covered up the real events of the 9/11 attacks.

Secret tunnel digging machine noise?
"The noise - compared to the roar of an engine and the honk of a fog horn - has been blowing in from near the Bay Ridge Channel for nearly a year, but nobody has been able to pinpoint its source. ... inspectors scoured the neighborhood, the treatment plant and the Brooklyn Army Terminal, but found no clues." - NYDailyNews
Master Conspiracy theory: Not all of the billions of dollars for the war have gone to Iraq and Afghanistan. Over $9 billion dollars is missing, plus over $565 billion, plus ... and so on.
Knowing what they do about global warming, the coming global energy crisis as oil runs out, food shortages, the shutting down of the Gulf Stream, the coming pole shift, solar storms, gamma ray bursts believed responsible for some previous mass extinctions, and so on, the Bush Admin planned 9/11 as a pretext for a massive power and resource grab.
They have been quietly building the most massive underground empire in the history of the world, hiding real activities with nonsense, spreading rumors of underground aliens to discourage serious researchers. Meanwhile, surface lakes and rivers are being drained of fresh water and stored as the world's primary fresh water supplies melt away. Massive DNA libraries are being built, prisoners are being used as labor and sex slaves and for cloning experiments. Adbuctions, mostly of women and children (est. 797,500 kids in 1999), some conducted under cover of the "alien" story, when the real culprits are world wide Shadow Government undergrounders.
Secret bases on the Moon and Mars are stocked with supplies and nuclear powered flying saucers are being readied for the final assult when secret technology will send booming voices from the sky to freak out the masses and cover up the real game. Those working on secret projects are mislead for security reasons, so very few know what is really going on.
Perhaps I'm just making this all up. I think I'll make a movie.

Reader Question: Is it possible to drill to hell?
Hi i want to know if it is possible to dig into hell by drilling. i read that sum scientists diged into hell by drillling into hollow earth, at about 14 kilometers or so deeper then kola one. reveal to me the truth god bless you and much love
Kawar,
Yes, of course, as long as you use a drill that exists only in your mind... because that is the location of hell. Hell is a scam invented by humans to control other humans through fear. After you die, your brain stops working and then you no longer exist. There is nothing else after death. Do you fear the time before you were born? No. There is no pain in not existing. You should not waste any of your life fearing death. Practice religion if it makes you happy while you are here, and do the right thing because you should, not because you will burn in hell if you don't.
PS. If you are just talking about heat and pressure as being hell, it would depend on where you drill. The Earth's crust is from 0-50 km thick (0-31.5 miles), and is thinnest under the oceans (from 0-6 miles).
Possible Bob Lazar Explanation
"It's a common security measure to give low-level employees misleading ideas of what they are working on."
Keep that in mind. It might explain why Bob Lazar who claims to have worked at Area 51 (Groom Lake) has some pretty wild ideas ... and why he saw space ships. The ships didn't need to work, they just needed to look good. Well, then again, I do think we've had man-made flying saucers ever since the USA aborbed the German's secret UFO technology during Project Paperclip. Bell's comment could also be disinformation.
Mystery of 40mph UFOs Flying in Formation Solved.
A spate of flying saucer sightings that alarmed residents of Orange County, California, and attracted attention from UFO researchers worldwide have been traced to the garages of a local heart surgeon and engineer. For the past few months, police have been logging reports of mysterious discs hovering and weaving over Aliso Viejo and nearby towns.
In one sighting, recorded on a UFO research website, a witness reported seeing four craft studded with bright blue lights "dance around one another in the night sky". But now the men behind the UFOs have revealed that they are radio-controlled models and that night flights are not just to shock people but also help sell the craft.
Dr , a cardiovascular surgeon from Aliso Viejo, and Steve Zingali, an engineer in Mission Viejo, built the fleet of carbon fibre-reinforced foam flying saucers in their garages. The discs are 3ft in diameter, about 1in thick, weigh less than 17oz and can reach 40mph powered by a tiny electric motor. The flashing lights are fitted around the edge of the disc. "We fly them in formation. It's pretty funny," Dr Murphy told the Los Angeles Times. "People stop, people scream; one cab driver ran his car off the road." The men have already sold four flight-ready saucers for $1,000 (?570) each. - TELE
NASA Launches Microsatellites. Sun a Threat to Earth’s Magnetosphere?
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, California (AP) -- NASA fired three microsatellites into space over the Pacific Ocean Wednesday morning to study the earth's magnetic fields, a week after a planned launch was scrubbed due to a technical malfunction. The 55-pound (24.75-kilogram) ST5 satellites, which will test new technologies for future science missions, were carried aloft from Vandenberg Air Force Base aboard a Lockheed L-1011 jet.
Shortly after 6 a.m. PST (1400 GMT), when the plane reached 39,000 feet (11,700 meters), a compact Pegasus rocket dropped from the aircraft's belly, fired its engine and ferried the satellites on a 10-minute climb into space.
The launch was broadcast live on NASA's TV station. - CNN
Will the coming massive solar storms expected to peak in 2012 damage the Earth's magnetic fields? We will take a hit, but what might happen as the sun zaps our planet's radiation shield repeatedly with over 1,500 gigawatts of power ( four times the U.S. power grid.)? We can expect some nice light shows, certainly.
"Charged particles in space from the Sun become pulled into Earth's magnetic field and are trapped. Once they are trapped, the particles spiral towards the Earth's magnetic poles, where the particles hit the gases in the Earth's atmosphere. These collisions give off energy that we see as colored light. " - AURORA

Cold War bunker found in Brooklyn Bridge
NEW YORK (CNN) -- New York workers have discovered a trove of Cold War-era supplies within the masonry of the Brooklyn Bridge, a cache meant to aid in survival efforts in the event of nuclear attack.
City Department of Transportation employees were conducting maintenance on the structure Wednesday when they found the cache on the top floor of a three-floor spaceinside the bridge's base, agency spokeswoman Kay Sarlin said.
Some containers were marked with two dates notorious in the annals of the Cold War: 1957, when the Soviet Union launched the first satellite into space, and 1962, the year of the Cuban missile crisis when the two superpowers may have come closest to war.
Sarlin said one of the containers was marked, "To be opened after attack by the enemy."
The stockpile included empty water drums and boxes of medical supplies, such as tourniquet bandages and an intravenous drip. Also, there were cans of high-calorie crackers with instructions to consume 10,000 calories a day per person. The instructions said the crackers should be destroyed after 10 years, but they were mostly intact. (Watch as Jeanne Moos tastes the 44-year-old crackers -- 1:58) - CNN

Tornado carried teen 1,300ft
A US teenager may have set a new record after he was picked up and carried by a tornado for a quarter of a mile.
Matt Suter, 19, was in his family's trailer home near Fordland, Missouri, when it was hit by the twister. "It got louder and louder, like 10 military jets coming at us," he told theSpringfield News-Leader. "Suddenly there was lots of pressure inside the house. The front and back doors that were both locked came off their hinges and blew out."
Matt, wearing only his boxer shorts, was hit and knocked out by a flying lamp before the tornado sucked him through the collapsing trailer walls. Propelled by 150mph winds, he was hurled up into the air and flew over a barbed wire fence more than 200 yards away. Matt eventually landed in soft grass in an open field, dazed and bleeding from the scalp wound, but otherwise intact. "I've always told my girlfriend I wanted to see a tornado," he said. "But I sure didn't want to be in one." A National Weather Service official used a GPS device to work out that he travelled 1,307ft. "I've never heard of anyone going that far in a tornado and surviving," said Tom Grazulis, a Vermont-based tornado researcher. -

Dogs Authorized. Bloody Attacks. Guard Sentenced. Wrist Slaps.
Another Abu Ghraib dog handler found guilty of abusing detainees
Another US military dog handler was found guilty Tuesday of abusing detainees at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq by terrifying them with a military dog ...
Colonel admits to approving use of military dogs on Abu Ghraib ...
A top Army intelligence commander ( Pappas ) testified Wednesday that he gave his approval on at least one occasion for the use of military dogs during the interrogation ...
Right. We go to fight terror ... but we terrorize. Notice that it is called "breaking someone down" by the higher ups, not terrorizing. The dog handlers were not just "frightening" people with these trained dogs.
"A dog handled by Cardona bit a detainee on both thighs, severely enough to require stitches... " - FOXNews "It seemed like a lot of blood, sir,'' Harman said. - MUZI
Responsibility for this goes at least all the way up to the Generals. We know also that sickos Rumsfeld and Cheney both condone torture.
"According to the officer, Col. Thomas Pappas, the idea came from Maj. Gen. Geoffrey D. Miller, who at the time commanded the U.S. military detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and was implemented under a policy approved by Lt. Gen. Ricardo S. Sanchez, the top U.S. military official in Iraq. " - WASHPOST
So how much worse is the real story? Do dogs kill and eat some detainees? How about in our secret prisons? In Gitmo? Who would be surprised?
Trial: When did Rolince really know about Moussaoui?
Nov. 15, 2001, 11:00 a.m. ET - "At a security conference in Germany on Wednesday, FBIofficial Michael Rolince said that "as an investigator I'm convinced there were supposed to be five people on this plane.
... Whoever that fifth person was is probably still alive. "Clearly we are looking into the pool of people who crossed paths with the hijackers" to find the 20th hijacker, said Rolince, FBI section leader for ." - COURTV
We are told there were five hijackers on each of the planes but one, yet the story of the hijackers is full of holes: some were US military(?!), some still alive after 9/11, none on the airline passenger lists, and the FBI admitted that they used fake IDs. Rolince seems to be angry and squriming. The court had an outburst of laughter regarding his assertion that his signature on something did not mean he approved it or was aware of it.
"The headquarters supervisor of the FBI ?s international terrorism operations section testified Tuesday he had never read an Aug. 18, 2001, memo in which an agent proposed a full criminal investigation of Zacarias Moussaoui as a possible terrorist airplane hijacker."
MacMahon then introduced an April 13, 2001, FBI electronic communication drawn from the April 2001 intelligence briefing paper. It advised all FBI field offices on countering bin Laden?s threats in this country ... Rolince said he hadn?t approved the communication, but MacMahon said the paper said he did. (Judge) Brinkema broke in: "Is it possible for a document to say you approved it if you have not approved it?" "Absolutely," Rolince replied, provoking an outburst of laughter around the normally quiet courtroom. He explained he might have been out of the country and a subordinate signed on his behalf." - LOCALNEWS
Trial: Hint that insider Frasca knew 9/11 was coming?
Michael Rollince [ Rolince ], who was the Federal Bureau of Investigation's chief of international terrorism section until his retirement, testified that he had little knowledge of Mr. Moussaoui before the attacks. ...When Edward B. MacMahon Jr., Mr. Moussaoui's chief court-appointed lawyer, asked Mr. Rollince if he knew that when Mr. Moussaoui was arrested he was under suspicion of planning an airliner hijacking, Mr. Rollince replied, "No." Then, after a moment he asked sharply, "Can I ask what document that's coming from?" Mr. MacMahon offered a quick reply: "That's Mr. Samit's communication to your office," he said. "Aug. 18, 2001."
"... Mr. Rollince (FBI) also testified that he had two "hallway" conversations, lasting a total of about 20 seconds, with one of the supervisors at headquarters who Mr. Samit had identified as blocking his efforts. He said the supervisor, David Frasca, briefed him on an alternate plan to have Mr. Moussaoui's belongings searched by extraditing him to France and having French authorities do the search. That plan, Mr. Samit had testified, was to go into effect on Sept. 11, 2001." - NYTimes
There aren't any pics of Frasca. I haven't decided completely yet, but Freeh seems like a good egg to me: Here is "Former Director of the FBI Louis J. Freeh" who accused the 9/11 Commission of a cover up.
Homeland Security Computer Security Grade: D+
FAILURE EVERYWHERE.? ... earned the Dept. of Homeland Security a big fat "F" in computer-system security. For the third year running, the agency entrusted with protecting the U.S. from security threats of all forms received the lowest grade possible from a congressional oversight committee.
The report card, issued Mar. 16 by the House Government Reform Committee, covers fiscal 2005 and measures government compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), which requires agencies to protect themselves against cyber threats. The grades are aimed at giving a sense of how well federal agencies are doing in such areas as training employees in computer security, and testing and certifying computer systems.
Flaws in the government's systems come in spite of a big and growing IT budget. The federal government's IT budget rose to $62.2 billion in the year ended September, 2005, from $50.4 billion in 2002. Of that, $4.8 billion was for IT at the DHS, including $2.35 billion specifically for IT security, according to the OMB. - BUS
Humans spur worst extinction in 65m years
"The (UN)report notes Earth's fish are being harvested faster than their natural replacement rate, water is being withdrawn faster than aquifers are replenished, and the biosphere takes one year and nearly three months to renew what humanity exploits in one year. Other indicators, the GBO says, point to an accelerating decline, that has seen the rates of species extinctions surge to their highest levels since the demise of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago." - PHYS
"Humans have provoked the worst spate of extinctions since the dinosaurs were wiped out 65m years ago, according to a UN report that calls for unprecedented worldwide efforts to address the slide. The report paints a grim picture of life on earth, with declining numbers of plants, animals, insects and birds across the globe, and warns that the current extinction rate is up to 1,000 times faster than in the past. Some 844 animals and plants are known to have disappeared in the last 500 years." - GUARDUK
Mayan underworld holds natural wonders
MSNBC - Biologist Tom Iliffe of Texas A&M University studies a centuries-old human skull found in the submerged cave systems of the Yucat?n during an expedition. The skull may have come from the victim of a sacrifice to the Mayan rain god.
...Divers are dipping into the cenotes, which stud the Yucatan peninsula, to explore a vast underground river system. Hefting air tanks, guidelines and waterproof lamps, they have so far mapped 405 miles (650 kilometers) of channels that form part of a huge subterranean river delta flowing into the Caribbean Sea, and they are only just starting.Scientists investigating the network of caverns and galleries, formed by rainwater passing through porous limestone, have found a wealth of early archaeological relics and prehistoric animal bones. Among the startling discoveries are ... saltwater sponges that may contain anti-tumor compounds. - MORE
2,000-Year-Old Tunnels and Chambers Discovered in Israel
Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Archaeologists in northern Israel have found a series of underground tunnels and chambers nearly 2,000 years old. The tunnels were used by Jews during a revolt against the Romans. Yardenna Alexandre, of the Israel Antiquities Authority, tells the Associated Press that the find showed that ancient Jews had prepared for an uprising against the Romans, which is in direct conflict with earlier suggestions that the uprising was spontaneous. Alexandre says, "It definitely was not spontaneous." - AHN
