Who Killed the Electric Car (trailer)

The 2007 Prius is supposedly the king of good mileage getting 60 miles per gallon in the city and 51 on the highway, but consumers say the real number is an average 43 mpg.

According to the EPA, 2006 model-year vehicles sold will get an average 21 miles for every gallon of fuel they burn. That's the same as last year, and 5% less than the fuel efficiency peak of 22.1 m.p.g. in 1987. - more
