Bush Vetos Waterboard Torture Ban

No surprise here. Bush is protecting himself, Cheney, etc. from prosecution for 9/11 by protecting the means by which they have obtained false confessions to keep themselves from being officially investigated.
President Bush on Saturday further cemented his legacy of fighting for strong executive powers, using his veto to shut down a Congressional effort to limit the Central Intelligence Agency’s latitude to subject terrorism suspects to harsh interrogation techniques. - nytimes

I'm so sick of hearing the BS phrase "harsh interrogation technique" regarding waterboarding. Call it what it is: suffocation torture.
