USB, the Satanic Data Connection + Is your computer posessed by an ancient language?

USB - Satan's data connection... English (Translation):

The evangelical cult "Paz do Senhor Amado" ("Peace of the beloved Lord") in the interior of Brazil forbids its followers to use any USB technology by contending that it uses a symbol that shows sympathy for the devil.

According to its founder, the "Apostle" Welder Saldanha says that this is just another symbol of Satan, which is always present in all Christian homes.

"The symbol of that name (a name which he doesn't even like to pronounce) is a trident, which is used to torture souls that go to hell. Use only a symbol of those shows that all users of that vile technology are actually worshipers of Satan" - explains the" Apostle".

Measures were taken so that all the USB connections of his followers were exchanged for common connections and even the Bluetooth (sic), which according to Saldanha Welder is permitted, for "Blue was the color of the eyes of our savior Jesus Christ". ...

Superstition is the result of faulty logic. Some people even believe that computers can themselves become possessed by evil spirits.
"Any PC built after 1985 has the storage capacity to house an evil spirit." - The Devil in the Machine: Is your computer possessed by a demon? by Reverend Jim Peasboro of Savannah GA ...

Rev. Peasboro said: "I learned that many members of my congregation became in touch with a dark force whenever they used their computers. He had the opportunity to inspect an infected computer. He found that an artificial-intelligence program started up automatically. He said that: "The program began talking directly to me, openly mocked me. It typed out, 'Preacher, you are a weakling and your God is a damn liar.' Then the device went haywire and started printing out what looked like gobbledygook...I later had an expert in dead languages examine the text. It turned out to be a stream of obscenities written in a 2,800-year-old Mesopotamian dialect!" - religioustolerance.org

This is more evidence that people create imaginary mystical forces and embellish their stories over time, making them more and more dramatic, due to tricks of human memory. Addictions are real, but computers are not to blame. Just for fun, something 2,800 years old is from the year 790 BC, the year of the Ethiopian conquest of Egypt (founding the XXVth Dynasty) according to this source.
In the Golden Age of the Assyrian power (790 BC) Mesopotamia was entirely subjected to that empire, and suffered the fate of its subsequent conquerors.  ( Source)

Aramaic spreads as “lingua franca” of Middle East 900 BCE-200 AD (Source)

A language from 2,800-year-old Mesopotamia would be Aramaic, I think.  I'm not aware of different written dialects. Aramaic was read right to left.
The Aramaic language was the international trade language of the ancient Middle East. Originated in what is modern-day Syria, between 1000 and 600 BCE it became extremely widespread, spoken from the Mediterranean coast to the borders of India. Its script, derived from Phoenician and first attested during the 9th century BCE, also became extremely popular and was adopted by many people, both with or without any previous writing system.

The following is the Aramaic script:

Aramaic flowered into myriads of different variants, which eventually became the script of many nations in the Middle East.

Try this, cut and paste these characters into a program in Windows like "notepad" then select all the text and change to the symbol font.
k J 7 4 3 g I E q Z t
u x  z  X O 7 G j 4 v  C

You'll get something that looks like a dialect of a 2,800-year-old Mesopotamian language.

This is because the symbol font has Greek characters. The Greeks said their alphabet was derived from the Phoenician alphabet and so was Aramaic, so it makes sense that they would have similar characters.

And now you know... the rest of the story.
