Cake tonight at the blue lamp

CAKE is one of my favorite bands. They are playing a very small secret show tonight in Sacramento, CA @ the Blue Lamp. I'm there right now, blogging this from an iPhone. The $10 cover is so cool for a band that had the no. 1 alternative hit in the USA.... ( "You're Never There" ). Very limited capacity. I think they have a new album. Show starts at 9:00 pm. I saw Gabe Nelson at the door of the club when I got here at about 7 pm.
