Real-Life Iron Man Outfit Hyped in New Video

A look at Raytheon's new wearable XOS 2 Exoskeleton, designed for soldiers to carry heavy loads....

Raytheon envisions two models for its exoskeleton. One will be strapped to the lower body, and will help grunts in combat ease the loads on their backs. (Kind of like Lockheed’s “HULC” super-suit.) The other — a tethered, full-body version == will help troops haul more heavy equipment back on base.

The company thinks it could have production models ready in five years. Additional promotional videos will undoubtedly come much, much sooner.
